The new Pontiac Solstice Coupe will hit the roads early in 2009, hoping to continue the tradition of its sister, the roadster, in this cheap sports cars segment.

    Cause the most powerful Pontiac Solstice, the one equipped with a 260 hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, will cost around $28.000. The cool thing about this car is that it’s not really a Coupe, but a Coupe/Convertible. So you pay for one car, and you get two. The roof, which is made of magnesium, can be easily taken down and left home, while you enjoy the wind in your hair.

    Just be sure there’s no rain announced on the forecast, unless you want yourself to get wet…
